Summer Break 1

Yuhoo I am back from Nasu Summer Camp. It's pretty busy these few days before I go back to Penang. Well, got a lot of things to blog but don't really have the time to do so. Here are just some brief descriptions of my days before summer camp. Again, photos will explain all, lolx.

17/07 (Friday)
Went to Shibuya (渋谷) with Pang. Didn't really buy anything other than some stuff from Disney Store! Yuhoo! At night, met up with 先輩 at Shinjuku (新宿). It was the first time I met up with Koay Keat senior. He is also from Penang! Kim Siang rushed over from Tsukuba to meet him and he changed his ticket to go back Gunma the next day, cool right lolx! We all had a great time chit-chatting and kind of gossiping at dinner time.

Actually it's not allowed to take pictures in the Disney Store. Stupid =.=

Jenka, Seng Pei & Koay Keat.
He has just finished his master course and is currently working. He claimed himself to be so old when he met up with all of us lolx =p
Spaghetti with bacon. Okok only.

18/07 (Saturday)
Every year during summer in Japan, there are a lot of places where they have 花火大会 and you can see the fireworks for at least one hour. Wow, it's such a long time right? Normally back in Malaysia, you could only see it for 5 min? 10min? during National Day or New Year. However, if compared Japan one to the one I saw at Vivocity, Singapore, I still prefer Singapore one although it is shorter, about 15-20 min if my memory doesn't fail me. After that, had my dinner at my Vietnamese friend, Duy's host family's house. I like the typical Japanese house, it's nice and comfortable. His okaasan knows my okaasan, that is why she asks me to go to her house whenever I am free. Lolx it seems that I have two host family in Japan now =) Thanks a lot!

Look at the smiley face at the bottom!
Tah-da!
Some simple shots.
Pala pala pala.

Chit-chatting with Duy's grandma.
Nice nice!
海草. According to Duy's okaasan, pregnant lady eats this often to gain Calcium to strengthen the bones.
I like the colour! It tastes just similar to our chinese dish.
Tofu.
Soup.
Duy's "brother" and his girlfriend. Both wearing Yukata (浴衣) to watch Hanabi (花火) where most of the Japanese do.Duy's otousan & okaasan.
Pang also bought her Yukata! Nice nice. My okaasan says she will give me one if not mistaken yeah yeah!

19/07 (Sunday)
It's the first time I went to okaasan's house. It was also my first time to sit on a car after I came to Japan lolx. Again I would like to say, I like their house decorations. It was a great day. We had 手巻き寿司 (Temakizushi) and てんぷら (Tempura) as dinner, nice! After that, played some card games and chit-chatting, spent almost the whole day there.

With Yui.
Tea-time. I love bread.
唯ちゃん.
There are tatami next to the living room.Living room. This rice is specially made for making the sushi later. After the rice is cooked, a solution of sugar + vinegar is added to mix with the rice.
Otousan was busying with the tempura cooking.
Okaasan was preparing the ingredients.

Enjoying =p
I never expected that I would be able to eat anything now as I used to be very picky on food last time, even just a single tauge also couldn't eat it, lolx. I have turned to "sampah tang" but I enjoy it =p
Macha flavour - Warabi from Kyoto.
With macha powder as the topping. Nice!
Cute!

20/07 (Monday)
Some of the okaasan came over to visit our dorm. Had lunch at a chinese restaurant nearby Tama station. I personally think that it doesn't really taste like the one we have back in Malaysia though. After that, spent some time talking with okaasan in my room and showed her some photos of family and friends. She used her handphone to snap Ming Yeow's photo when she saw that, and showed to other okaasan after that lolx. We had our 2nd round of eating where Vietnamese & Bulgaria friends prepared some of their home country food.

Chinese food.
Vietnamese 春巻き - similar to our "lobak".
Me and Plamena - with her handmade Bulgaria tarts! Nice!
There were some "he piah" (虾饼) as well - by Vietnamese students.
Tamciak look =p
At common kitchen.
